Connected to WiFi but apps requiring internet dont work

My daughter has a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. It is having issues running apps that require internet connection like Youtube and netflix.
I have reset the WiFi router and I know it is working fine because we have other tablets and phones that work just fine connected to it. I have also "Forgot" the WiFi connection and then reestablished the connection by entering the WiFi password again. I brought up the browser and tried google and it worked but gave a certificate warning.
Any advice on how to get her tablet working again?

Thanks!

Jeff

Is every site other than Google giving you a certificate warning? If so, check your date and time in settings to verify it is correct. If not, change it and then see what happens (you may have to restart). I remember older Galaxy devices having this nasty issue and it was a big ordeal.

Other than that, Reset Network Settings (I might have to look up the path if you get this far cause I completely forgot). Then a factory reset as your last resort.
