constant roaming notification

My Thunderbolt shows constant roaming in the notification bar. I have rooted my phone via v2 method and thats when I noticed it. Anyone with stock TB seeing this?

No I'm not. I've been travelling too. I live in a 4g area and drove to a nearby town, I see this is still 3g.
