Contact Name Linking/Editing

So every time I link my friend's twitter account to her Facebook & gmail contact her Twitter name shows up as the default name. How can I get it so it is linked so that her actual (Gmail or Facebook) name appears? Also when ever i try to edit her contact info it gives the name i am looking for. Saving it doesn't work either.

Edit: it would appear that no matter what changes you make to a twitter contact's name it will still display their twitter name and to make matters worse it seems if you link a twitter contact w/ another one the twitter defaults as the display name
