Issue 1
Can't see contact list but they are there if doing a manual search

Issue 2

Battery discharges quickly. Have installed task killer and power manager and not sure how to efficiently use them.

Issue 3

Processor speed seems slow. Can't tell if I'm keeping multiple apps open and slowing system down.

heya,

issue1: what did you set the contact list options to? Try to set all options and then look again.

issue2: If battery drains FAST, that can be an Network issue, try setting network to 2g only, then you should have DOUBLE the battery life. If that is true, you are at a place where the phone cant decide wich connection ois more stable, so he switches a lot between 2g and 3g, and that causes drain.

Just give it a try

Issue3 How do you notice a slowed system? Usually it depends on RAM if phone gets slow, cuz ram gets filled up, processer has to be alwys slow, if it was!
So try uninstalling some apps and see if it is running better then ^^
