Here at DroidForums, we like to toss something your way once in a while, and I thought this would be fun to start with. This application was very popular with users back in the old Windows Phone days, and now with Android support, it has sadly been overlooked. The application allows you to connect to your computer via 3G or WiFi and control the mouse and keyboard without any physical connection to it. The controls are very simple and the application looks very nice. The features (below) are even more impressive.

 • use your PDA as mouse, keyboard, joystick or remote controller to PC
 • control your PC over WiFi, Bluetooth or 3G
 • enjoy with GRemote and create new skins especially for your favorite application
 • define profiles for many applications in one applet
 • use your built-in GSensor as an analogue joystick for PC and mouse control
 • control any application you want!!!
 • browse your PC files using exprorer extension
 • manage Winamp and Aimp2 playlist directly from your phone
 • define many actions to one button (e.g. change resolution, display OSD and Run application)
 • works with Windows Mobile and Android devices
 • compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7
 • Wake on Lan client included - new!!!
 • lifetime updates free!!!
More features (GRemote - the best way to control PC using PDA (About GRemotePro))

This application is the first of many we will try to send your way. To get your chance at 1 of 5 copies we are giving away, simple reply and let us know why you should get it and how you would use it.
Enjoy this fun little contest we are doing to make your Friday a little better.

NOTICE: There is a free version of this app in the Market. This is a permanent version of this app. The one in the market is only temporary.

Id like to try this out . my wife stays at home sometimes and always seems to run in to a problem with the computer in our home. she always calls me on the phone at work asking how to fix this or how to setup that i would like to use this program to help me help her and not get in trouble at work for being on the phone at work a half hour trying to explain to my wife what right click is....Lol (sorry baby) i know this is not high tech for some people but this is the truth and well that's always the best way to go. hope you guys feel me on this.

you'd be better off with a remote desktop app, as you won't see the screen with this app.

My pregnant wife (18 weeks) watches netflix in bed. she either has to get up and click play again or I do it to for her. would be awesome if we could use the droid to keep the episodes playing!

sweeeeeeeeeet

I would use this to control my music on my pc when working in the garage.

And to mess with family members mwhahahaha....

Sympathy part: my wife is giving birth to our daughter in 3 to 4 weeks (no lie)

I'd plug my laptop into my 40" 1080p sammy and use the app to navigate through and play my extensive porn collection while I'm laying in bed.

I have a 19" flatscreen mounted on the wall at the foot of my bathtub:biggrin:.
I need Gremote so I can run video from my PC in my office to that TV and watch TV episodes from IceFilms while I soak!

I want it because I'm a criminal defense attorney and use computers in the courtroom to show evidence, make arguments, etc. If I could control them with my android I wouldn't have to constantly go to the desk to use a mouse.

Also, my house has a computer in every room, including one attached to the stereo in my living room, and being able to use my phone to rc them all would be, well, just really cool.

Thunderstruck

I want and need because i have HTPC that i have to use the wired mouse and keyboard to control which are located below the tv far away from couch. =/ and i participate in the pay it forward during xmas. :D (if that helps in your decision making ;) )

I have my pc setup to pipe video to my tv in another room and I also often pipe music from my pc to other parts of the house. I've tried several remote-control apps but this one sounds like it has more potential. Android FTW! dancedroid

id like to have this because i think it would be sick to control my computer from my living room..as i have my computer live stream to my big screen tv. :) ultimate lazyyyyneesss haha. ooo the wonderful world of electronics :)
