Copy everything to a 32gb card

I just got a 32gb micro for my droid from Verizon.

I formated the card in windows and then copied everything from my 16 over to it.

I can see the files through a file explorer and programs can use stuff they have downloaded, but ringtones and music will not update with stuff from the 32 gb card.

Any help would be appreciated.

what do you mean update? if your ringtones are in the right folder then they should automatically appear in the list of ring tones. If your music is anywhere on the sd card the music player should automatically find it.

You should use your phone to format the card. I had similar problems when I let windows do the formatting.

On your Phone:
Settings
SD Card
Unmount SD Card
Format SD Card

Then copy the files from your PC to the phone.

Obviously, don't do any of the above if your SD Card is not backed up on your PC.

This. Always use the device you will be using the card with to format. Camera, phone, psp, etc...

I copied all data off.

I formatted it with the phone and copied everything to it.

It will not recognize any of the music or ringtones.

I tried just putting the music on the sd card and it still won't recognize it.

Any help more things I can try, I don't want to have to return this card.
