copy/pasting text

When I'm viewing a Web page, I'd like to be able to select text, then paste it into an email -- or whatever. When I go to Menu, then More, my Droid tells me that Select text is Menu+e. How do I enter Menu+e (or Menu+f, etc.)? I don't know how to make letter alternatives come up with the Menu key.

Thanks.

You need to use the keyboard. You press menu and then the key on the keyboard and it brings up the action you want to complete.

Thanks -- got it to go pink and say "text copied to clipboard"

But then how do I paste it into, say, an email message? I go home, then open gmail, then go to the body of the message, and I don't see any option allowing me to paste that elusive pink text.

How to Cut/Copy and Paste Text:

1. To cut or copy text, touch and hold the desired text field. (Not all text fields support cut/copy.)
2. Touch the desired option: Cut all Cuts all text from the field, Copy all Copies all text from the field.
3. Touch and hold the desired target text field.
4. Touch Paste.

Try that and see how it goes...
