Corporate sync shortcut

I have been unsuccessful creating a shortcut or widget on my desktop to go directly to my corporate sync email. Its becoming redundant going through the messaging shortcut to get to where I need. I have stock android 2.2.
Any help or suggestions would be great.

Same problem with Droid X

I have the same problem with my Droid X. I have to go into Apps > Email > Menu > Email settings > Default email account and change it between personal and corporate email. That's idiotic. Surely there's a way to get an icon on my desktop.

"Universal Inbox" or "Messaging"

I did find a workaround for the lack of separate icons for corporate and personal email. Locate the "Messaging" icon (looks like a mailbox with the flag partially raised) and move it where you want. When you click this icon, you get icons for "Universal Mailbox"--which contains everything, including text--, a "Text Messaging" icon, and separate icons for both my corporate and Yahoo email.

A lot easier than clicking the "Email" icon (the one that looks like an envelope with a stamp with "@" on it) and using "Email settings" to toggle between email accounts.dancedroid

That was how I was navigating to my corporate mail. Now I created a messaging widget. You can set it up to view only certain acct. Which allows me to view most recent incoming messages without opening. Also allows me to navigate straight there without having to sort around my other accts.

has anybody figured out a fast way to get to your corporate sync emails without going through the "Messaging" function?? thanks.

I downloaded yahoo app so I have separate shortcut to that email. My gmail already had its own shortcut. Then I set my corporate email as my default. And now when I use the "email" shortcut, it goes to my corporate. Works well for me.
