Costco - Extended Battery

So I bought a galaxy nexus on the thirteenth of January for $289.99. Today, I was going through talkandroid and found this costco deal: Costco Has Online/In-Store Deal for Galaxy Nexus, Comes With Free Extended Battery | TalkAndroid.com. I know that Costco has a price protection policy of 30 days and I will be going in tomorrow for it, but do you think that it will be possible to get in on this deal as well?

Although I wouldn't advise doing this, if it's really important for you, I imagine you could return your phone and just purchase the new deal.
