Couple of Questions

1 - Can you clear the "Frequently Called" section of the Favorites tab on the phone?

1. Yes when in call log hit menu->preferences->hide frequently called
2. No but google is "searching" for a solution(pun intended)

Thanks for the fast reply. When I select the "Call Log" tab and hit menu, the only option it has it "Clear Call Log". The frequently called numbers are still there.

You can clear the search history in the markey with something like clearcache, but only if you are rooted.

also, every time you wipe cache/data.. happens in recovery (rooted as well)

Answer to your #2 question: Delete /data/data/com.android.vending/databases/suggestions.db and the history is... history
