Ever since I upgraded my Droid X to Android 2.2, I've been unable to connect to my desktop without crashing my computer.
I remember being prompted to select my mode of connection after the conversion. Something like making my Droid a "storage device" or something like that. Then, when I would plug in to the USB port, I would get the two file explorer boxes that would ask if I wanted to open the drive to see files, and another that said something about installing Motorola Phone Utility.
I would like to get back to the way my phone was before, when I could simply plug it in and it would be like another removeable memory card.
And most of all, not crash my computer!
Now when I plug it in to USB, I just get the Blue Screen Of Death!
Thanks for your suggestions.
