Crazy static on phone call

I've had the phone since Thursday and call quality has been great, I was on the phone for 40 minutes the other day and everything was fine. This morning I was talking to someone and all of a sudden there was this crazy high pitched noise that the both of us could hear. I hung up and tried calling my friend back, but when it started dialing all I could hear was static. I tried about 4 times, finally I just rebooted. It seems okay now, even though there were a couple times when I heard that pitched sound, but just for a second. Anyone else have this issue or any other call issues?
