Creating Photo Albums on Incredible

I am trying to create multiple albums on my Incredible and am having no luck. I figured out the default director for the photo albums are on the SD card F:\DCIM\100MEDIA. So I created folders in that directory and split photos out. When I go back to the phone, all my photos show up, but not in albums...

All I see is:

Camera Shots
All photos (which has slightly less than camera shots... but is mostly all the same photos)
All Videos
Download - which is a completely different folder.

Please help! This shouldn't be this difficult!
