creating shortcut/folder to contact group

Within groups I have made several groups (ie family, work, friends) and I would like to create links to these groups. If I create a folder on any page it will allow me to choose favorites or all contacts but no groups. I love my Droid X but this is driving me crazy! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
