CRT on-off animation

I was searching the forums for a CRT on/off animation since I saw it on my brother's incredible and thought it was cool. I eventually found a post here:

In the comments there is one for the droid 2 and droid 2 r2d2 version. However, and trying to install it, it clearly doesn't work on the d2g. I was wondering if someone knew how to integrate it into the d2g framework-res.apk. If someone knows how to, that would be super cool. Thanks.

That link says it is for Gingerbread only. D2G is running Froyo. Gingerbread is not available yet for the D2G.

It could work, assuming someone decides to go and tinker with it until it does...But...Then again, CM is in the works for our D2Globals now. So we'll have that CRT-off animation at some point anyways, OTA, or CM (obviously, we know which one is better...:laugh
