Cubot S Note won't make calls or texts, but can receive them and use mobile data

right i have a problem thats driving me nutz.. i have had a Cubot S Note for 6 months and its been fantastic, now a few weeks ago went to ring and got ..network disabled message.. tryed to text and wonts send.. now heres the odd thing.. I CAN receive calls and messages, i DO have a full signal with 3G, i CAN log on to play store with data connection only (not using wifi) .. what the hecks going on Please please anyone, i have tryed a few forums and NO-ONE can sus this problem... the sim works fine in other phone, i have also tryed a different sim in the cubot but get the same "network dissabled" message on trying to ring out or text.. again people CAN ring me and text me...no settings have been changed.. i also tryed a factory reset that made no difference..please Help

Welcome to the forum. I'm not familiar with that phone, but hopefully someone here can offer some help.

When you performed the FDR (factory reset) did you turn off the Automatic Backup option? Sometimes the same problem app (s) or settings are downloaded right back onto the phone if that option is checked. After the FDR, did you try to make a call & send a text before installing any apps again, before updating any apps?

i never back up lol... i tryed to call before i installed anything on the mobile after Factory reset yes.. it was still the same.. wouldnt call out.. its so odd i can receive calls and texts but not make them.. its got to be something simple i am missing (i hope)

I've changed the title of your post to better reflect your problem. Including model name and a short description of your problem will often lead to more help more quickly, though I'm in the same boat as @Sajo as far as not having heard of that device before.

Best I can suggest is to confirm that the cellular network settings are correct for your carrier. Just because the SIM works in a different phone doesn't mean the pre-programmed defaults in your phone are correct.

the sim in the phone was working fine before i had this issue, i hadnt changed the sim.. the phone was factory unlocked ..Cubot is a chinese phone and quite a well known one..there really nice phones i have had2 different ones before this on and family memmbers also have used them..good build and good specs to anyway

Is there a chance your network provider has blocked outgoing calls and texts (SMS) for some reason? Maybe get in touch with them and verify your line is not blocked from outgoing traffic?

its not just one sim its diffent sim i have use different network providers.. so its deffo something to do with the phone..as i have posted i tryed the sims in other phones and they work perfect..its just with this phone..incoming is ok ..no outgoing on any sim/any network

Have you even bothered to double check the network settings yet? Or are you just assuming they're still correct because the phone used to work? You never told us what carrier(s) you're using so its hard for us to help.
