current BOGO question

So my dad and I were both eligible for upgrades through verizon. He already upgraded just the other day to a droid x and now this BOGO offer has come out. Does anyone know if there is any way we could still take advantage of this offer to get my phone for free? (as I was probably going to to get the X as well). Thanks!!

i wouldnt think verizon would let you do that since the way it works if with rebates. I got lucky and got 2 yesterday but have to send in the upc to get the rebates.

would a new contract have to be activated for the other phone?

I don't know if they require an active line for the second one or not I had 2 phones that were due. But it never hurts to ask.

All you can do is call and ask. I just bought 2 X's on Sunday, and since it's within 30 days they are refunding me the price of one.
