Custom Boot Animations with sound?

Just as the title says it, is it possible to do that with the Droid? Because I found a boot animation with sound using the nexus one boot, so can that be possible with the Droid? I did a search on forum and didnt find anything of this topic.

csmith197 had a pretty good writeup on the desc.txt file (basically tells the phone what to do with animation files.)

I don't remember coming across anything about sound though. You say the nexus one has a sound file? Open up the desc.txt and see what the format looks like, I'd be interested in this as well!

This is what some guy posted this is Nexus One boot with sound. There is an .xml file in there but i have no clue what all that is lol

Interesting, but this one goes above my head as well. Gifs instead of frames! Somebody with more working knowledge than me is going to have to get on this one...sorry.

Yea I knows it's all wierd it would be a big plus if we can do this on the Droid specially the ones who like showing off lol (like me). Someone figure it out for us please and thanks.

So can anyone look into it and maybe getting this feature on droid? Maybe a mod can change the section and put it in the Developer section???
