I wouldn't get your hopes up. The dev section on XDA is basically non-existent which isn't a good sign for this phone.

This phone was designed and targeted for a select group of people *cough* Blackberry Users *cough*. Plus combined with Moto's new thinking that they need to lock down the bootloaders will make devs venture to other more popular phones.

I'm hoping the phone will grow enough in popularity over the holiday season and by word of mouth to warrant a few Devs to cook us up some goodies, but so far I haven't gotten any promising replies from the well known devs out there.

Time will tell though, so until then all we can do is keep our fingers crossed.

there exists a way to recovery so we can try any ROMs which suspected to work with PRO such like ROMs for D2. I'll report here later if I made it.

Yep. Heard that the hardware it self is almost the same as D2 except radio section. Idea is pull some drivers file from PRO and meager into D2 rom then Flash it. I'm not sure it will be work or not but droid2bootstrap would save me from the "worse case" .

I would exercise extreme caution. I don't believe there's a droid pro sbf currently available so be carefull.

My wife got her pro in the mail today and I'm itching to set her up. I don't have internet except my wifi tether...the joys of living in the boon docks
