Custom roms vs ads

Hey all, I have been using custom roms for a while now but I have a game that offers in app purchases and I cannot access the purchases. Is it because ads are removed? Is there a way around this, maybe a way to turn ads on and off?

I wouldn't think so, some ad links just don't always work. You could try reenabling ads and see if that works.

And in app purchases is through the market so it wouldn't really be ad related..

Any ideas as to what exactly I could do? I am not running an ad removal app I just assume that custom roms are already equipped with them. Is there a setting that I am not aware of?

They are not running them unless they specifically say they are enabled by default. None of the D2G ROMs do. AdFree Android is an app that disables ads.
