Custom Text Notifications for each Contact?

I just switched over from the Blackberry Storm 2 and I must say im loving it! All but 2 things is there any way to set different text notifications for each individual contact? Also is there any good IM service like BBM?

I'm not sure about different notifications, other than ringtones, for each contact is possible. that'd be pretty cool though. I like one text tone and one ringtone, don't like to get all complicated with it and one custom ringtone for one lucky person

You might try chompsms or handcent. One of those may offer the customization you desire. Both are available in the market.
