Custom Wallpaper Problem

Hi I'm new here and I registered because I have a problem with all wallpapers that aren't the default ones. Whenever I get a wallpaper and try to put it on, it won't go into the cropping screen. Sometimes it says that there's an error with the picture, but most of the time it seems to just glitch itself out. So I'm stuck with the default wallpapers for now.
Oh and by the way, I have a Droid 2 if that helps any.

What format and size are your wallpapers?

They're all jpg. I really don't know what the size is but I got them from an Android wallpaper werbsite, so I'd guess that they're all the size Android wallpapers are supposed to be.

I took a picture outside and made it my wall paper. Maybe if you place your wall paper into the DCIM/Camera folder on you SD card along with your other pictures, you will have better luck.
