Not sure if this is related to my Other issue, or if its just a GB thing.
I have had issues where my custom ringtones (in MP3 format, cropped songs created via Audacity) I have set for people would just vanish and I would have to go an set them again. I have now taken to put my ringtones in system memory /system/media/audio/ringtones and that has fixed that issue.
Since I have had the other issues in the above link and have had to do a factory reset a few times, and now with my new 'like new' phone, I have been having others issues. When I am in setting the ringtones for contacts, after about 5 or 6, it will just stop playing them. If I set them, exit back to my contacts, go back in to check what the ringtone is, its blank. Rebooting the phone does fix it.
While it wont play them when setting them, I can navigate to that folder and play it using a media player on the phone, it will play notifications without issues, but just not a ringtone.
Has anyone else seen this problem? Is it a GB thing?
