Customizing a bootanimation?

i have a droid 2 global with fission rom on it. From the fission rom manager i downloaded the htc thunderbolt bootanimation. Booted into recovery and installed it. But the verizon airwave sound it came with is annoying. Is there a way we can edit the bootanimation with a new sound such as some thunder and rain?

I tried the Flame 2 first and liked it a lot! If you haven't tried it, it is the number 2 on fire. Sounds simple, but it looks pretty cool. Also, it is silent so you don't have to hear anything!

Ehhh. I tried that one. I rlly like the thunderbolt one but i just need to change the sound lol
