Cyan Razr Diamond Boot Animation

LOOKING GOOOOOOD!!! Nice find. Did you do the sound update to the loud Droidhd.ogg?
Nah I decided not to... I figured everyone was right and didn't feel like having it go off in a meeting or something... no biggie... maybe if I get fired someday lol

The boot animation and sound file are both in the same folder but don't work against each other.

I just installed it and rebooted and didn't get the sound at all ...

Renamed the original .zip to "bootanimation2.zip"

Put the new one in the system/media folder. Rebooted and got no sound. Moved the original to the SD Card for safe keeping, booted again with no sound.

Moved the original back to the media folder, rebooted, and had the sound again.

Just for grins and ha ha's I extracted the .zip file. There is a text document in there called "desc"

It says:

# 480 wide, 800 tall 24 frames per second
480 800 24

# p means we're defining a part
# first number is repeat count, 0 means infinite
# second number is delay in frames before performing the next part
# so if you are playing 15 frames a second 15 would be... one second
# string defines the directory to load files from
# files will be loaded in order but names don't matter

# s defines a sound for a part
# sounds will be loaded from /system/media
# oggs with loop points will loop automatically
# only one sound will play at a time
# timing is driven by the part, not the sounds
# if you want no sound, leave blank

# droid
p 1 0 01_droid

# mobility
p 1 0 02_mobility

# loop
p 0 0 03_loop

Maybe one of those values needs to be changed ... "if you want no sound, leave blank" ... leave WHAT blank?

Good catch. There is no S value, so he forgot to add (or decided to exclude) it. It should be in the beginning of # droid, so I believe perhaps it should read:

p 1 0 01_droid

s 1 0 01_droidhd

Let's see in the original.

Need to add s droidhd.ogg
