Cyanogen has done pretty well with their second device partnership the OnePlus One. This phone didn't really take off very quickly from the beginning, and has picked up plenty of bad press along the way, but overall it can be counted as a success. Even several months after its release there is still plenty of demand for the OnePlus One and there are still plenty of people out there trying to get their hands on an invite to buy one.
Cyanogen is now reportedly in talks to bring us another device in partnership with Indian phone maker Micromax. Micromax is known for their affordable phones. They have already partnered with Google to bring an AOSP experience to India in the form of the $105 Android One. CyanogenMod would like to bring their own device to the same market. It would be really nice to see CyanogenMod succeed with a sub $100 device!
