A few years back the CEO of CyanogenMod went on record stating that his company over time would put a bullet in the head of Google somehow insinuating that his Android Skin overlay would not only be able to thrive without the existence of Android but also that his company would be the one to take them down. All this time later Android still operates on Billions of devices! CyanogenMod has their millions of devices though.
As one could imagine Cyanogen is all about integrating their own versions of apps in favor of Google's versions. They have finally released their very own Chromium based browser "Gello". You should start to see the new browser in nightly builds for many devices. Features include Save for offline, desktop like save dialog, bookmark to the homescreen, multiple search engines, power saving, night reading mode, built in ad blocker, fullscreen option, and more. You will only find this browser in CyanogenMod 13.
