Running Vista32 on a 3-year-old HP, and tried today (for the first time) to access my SD card on the Droid 2 via USB.
Everything seems to go OK...I get the usual "What Do You Want To Do?" dialog, and then the computer reboots.
Tried it with the phone off when connected, phone on when connected, PC on or off, Mass storage mode, every option in the world.
Tried uninstalling the drivers and allowing them to reinstall the next time I connected.
Nothing helps. As soon as the computer tries to read the SD card (or maybe it's the phone's memory) the PC reboots hard.
I can read, write, and move files around on the card when I use the SD adapter, so it's not the card.
I had no problems with my Blackberry or the Droid Incredible I had for a week, so I don't think it's the laptop.
Any suggestions?
Anybody else encounter this?
