D3 is $50 for new customers!

Same deal at Fry's

Yesterday's Frys ad had the Droid 3 for $50 for BOTH new and upgrade customers. This is the best price I have seen for upgrade customers.

Question with going through amazon:

1: Will I still be grandfathered in for wireless?
2: Will I get my NE@ $30 discount on top of the deal?
3: I see new contract, but is there anything for singing a new contract as a existing customer?

1: If you are on a data contract now, then yes.

2: No, you are dealing with Amazon, not Verizon. You can't use Verizon discounts at Amazon just like you can't use Amazon discounts at Verizon.

3: You don't want a new contract, you want to renew your contract. A new contract would also require a NEW data plan which would not be grandfathered in.

Yeah. I got mine for free last week from letstalk.com. Of course they aren't selling it for free now but still.

Sent from my DROID3 using DroidForums

Gotcha, thanks for the help.

Trying to find a way to get a D3 for ~ or <$100. Funny enough seems us long time customers are getting the crappier deals.
