D3 keyboard backlight random on/off...

My keyboard back-light randomly turns on and off during texting. I'm assuming some light sensor thinks it's bright enough outside to turn off the backlight.
But this happens when I'm outside at night in the dark. The backlight just turns off and on randomly. Really annoying.
Anyone seen this, and have a perfect solution?

I've had that happen also. I found that my left index finger sometimes covers the sensors on the screen (near the speaker).

You are absolutely correct. I can at least now replicate this, thanks! My hands are large enough that I almost can't avoid that sensor when texting.
Is there a featurerequest email that anyone knows of? It would be great to have a setting to keep the keyboard backlight on.
