dark screen

ok, recently i installed an app called,"fingerprint screensaver" on my droid 2 global. as soon as i set it as my home screen, it went dark. i can't get my phone to work at all. on the lock screen it seems to work fine but as soon as i unlock it it's black again. i can slide down the tasks bar but nothing else. i tried taking out the battery, putting in a whole new micro sd card, and tried to rest it but nothing will work. any suggestions?

I used that app, and uninstalled it because it would only accept the trick unlock one out of every 10 or 20 times, leaving me super frustrated. I got the black screen you're talking about ONE time, and I was able to get out of it by pressing the home key while it showed. If that doesn't work, you could always use the SBF that came out the other day to set your phone back to factory.. But that's kind of a pain. I'm new to this, maybe someone else will come along with a better suggestion.
