My OG Droid had data roaming on checked for at least a year (one of the updates automatically checked it) with noticeable 3g data improvement. After doing some research, I found out that 3G roaming was free and Verizon had no problem with it.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has these roaming options disabled by default. I turned them on, but then I realized that I'm no longer in a 3g-only world anymore. Is turning on roaming safe in this brave new 4g world? I have the old, grandfathered unlimited data plan that I've held onto from long, long ago.
Any advice would be appreciated! :happy3:
