Brag? I'm always hearing I use alot but figured I can't be the only one. So I want to see where I'm at among other users. Not sure how that's bragging. "lol, I can download! " really?

You've used 28 GB in 5 days?!? It's users like you that lead to throttling, the elimination of unlimited plans, etc. 
I've been tinkering with video streaming when 4G is behaving itself and I'm almost at 3GB so far this billing cycle and I'm about 1/3 into the cycle.
I use wifi at home and I have Unlimited Data which does me no good some days because it keeps cycling off. Some days 4G works well.

I'd point everyone to the thread in which a guy posted his 65 GB usage for a month....but I dont want to feed the trolls.
Let's see this in another light.....
If data usage were really that much of a stick up a Carrier's butt, people like OP and the guy I mentioned would not only be throttled, but hit hard and fast.
So ask yourself....why really are carriers making gripes about monthly usage?
Money. Profit. Plain and simple. Big evils doing their damndest to take everything you have. Take for instance a college campus. They have amazing revenue from the gov't, students, and mom and dad. they have >not a care< about >total bandwidth usage< over an alotted time. the only thing a college's ITS staff cares about is making sure >via throttling< that no one person is taking a disproportionate amount of >network speed< at ANY GIVEN TIME. Bandwidth cost per GB for a carrier? Dont make me effin laugh, it's all a scam and a joke.

When I opened my account I signed a contract for unlimited data. I have no options for Internet at home other than verizon or dual-up. Not going with dial. I have 3 smart phones and an air card with unlimited data and one features phone. On a family plan we share 1400 minutes but use a combined total of ~ 180 per month. My monthly bill? ~370 per month. Add that over the 4 years I've had the plans (I'm not counting the total 8 years I've been with verizon) and I've given them over 17 thousand dollars. That's not counting the thousands I've spent on phones and Accessories. You have any idea how many customers verizon has? If you think I'm the reason for data caps and throttling (I've never been capped or throttled), you are blind. Your willingness to fork over hard earned cash for ceo's and shareholders profit is what ****s us. Blind consumerism. The day they cap me is the day the lose my money.

I'm at about 2.5gb straight usage, no tethering. Thankful to be grandfathered into unlimited.

I do like the fact that you made a very long and pointless justification for the fact that you use a ridiculous amount of data. If you believe you're doing no wrong there is no need to justify it to anyone but yourself. Seeing as you did though...

OK I'm not trying to white Knight the OP here but seriously. this kind of crap needs to stop.... People pay for unlimited; which last I checked was still unlimited. I pay for "unlimited" Data for FIOS and should I be throttled for going over 50GB a month!? :cus: NO I should not! Does Verizon FIOS care if I set up my Nexus on my FIOS and "tether" my data from FIOS to my phone!? NOPE! they could care less!Verizon cannot even tell the difference between the data used on the phone vs the data used via Tether... you know why!? because it's all data!!Verizon can do or say anything they want and it seems that people paying Verizon for service are content with anything Verizon wants to do. Verizon/At&T/T Mobile/Sprint/ w/e are all just Companies that offer a service in exchange for our money. They can and will do anything that we( the consumer) allows them to do. Institute Data Throttling!? Check! Institute Tiered Data packages!? Check!! brainwash remaining consumers into our way of thinking!?? Check!!! At what point are people going to stop letting a Company just do anything they want and get away with it!? Think about it before you just flame... it's plain and simple... Companies only do what the consumer base will allow them to. Think about that the next time you decide to not only pay a company to take advantage of you but also "side" with them whilst they do it. It's people like this that let things like SOPA happen!
