Data usage goes up without using internet on my incredible 2, any thoughts?

I might go days without using internet on my phone but i notice my data usage goes up daily (it might only be like going from .014gb to .016 etc). I dont have any of the weather widgets or anything, ive checked all my running apps and dont have any that wasnt on their other then when i activated my phone. Ive called Verizon and they say this is normal, to me this seems like im not getting all im paying for. Is this normal for the usage to go up.

It's probably just some apps syncing in the background. Check to see what syncs and when and how many times a day.

Go into settings. Go down to sync (or it might say account and sync) either way click on that. You should see a list of what is syncing and how many time a day. Make changes as needed. Me personally I have almost nothing syncing. When I want to see my email or the weather I'll refresh it myself.

Backup assistant plus.

Another person had a similar issue.

Backup assistant is my guess as well. It doesn't use much data but it does use some and you don't notice it happening.
