Data?

Hello, all. How are you?

First smartphone user. Droid Razr Maxx.

I just downloaded SiriusXM. Runs well. But, I didn't see an option to run on a WiFi signal only.

When the app was running (using 3G cellular signal) I looked under the apps management > running, I didn't see SiriusXM! I did see the logo up on the notification bar. Why wouldn't it have been listed?

Can I safely assume, by actually logging out of the app; not just exiting, it will not be running in the background? I would hate to wake up one morning to see a big chunk of data used up.

I know some processes may run in the background. I also know it depends on what appas are installed and/or settings. But, what would indicate something is running to high in the background?

Thank you.

Steve

Usually if you stop it . It will quit pulling data. But if u want to be sure you could reboot phone or manually kill it. Settings-applications-manage applications. find the app click on it. There will be button there to force stop it
