daylight savings time

hope everyone remember to change their clocks this morning. or are you like me and have some clocks they never change and is only right about half a year.

just wondering, I have been reading a lot lately about eliminating the time change. What do you think?

I believe it was effective for the reasons it was first implemented and at the time (and years to follow). But I'm not sure it's still needed in this modern world we live in, and it might be time to eliminate DST in the US.

Is it still needed, eh. But my does it feel good in the fall to get that extra hour of sleep, and suck in the spring to lose it. But I'm a traditionalist at times. I'm ok with keeping it. Even when I worked the night shift and it meant I gave the company an extra hour of my time.

Those that are on mountain Time need not worry as they get to avoid the clocks that are only right half of the year.

The only thing DST does for me, gives me an extra hour to work in the summer. When the sun goes down it is time to pee on the fire and call the cats in. Yeah, Mountain time, I was in Utah and the sun setting at almost 10 was kinda weird.

It really doesn't matter for me, I could take it or leave it. I don't think it's a big enough deal for Washington to spend any time debating it when we have real issues. I better stop there..

right now I am one of them - wide awake an hour early but will pay for it when I go to work tonight.
