Delete App search history

How do you delete the apps market search history. I did a search for this but came up with nothing. I know how to delete the browser search history but that does not delete the apps search.

I think there is an app that will do it, but you need to be rooted IIRC. Check in the Hacks forum if you are interested.

I just looked at the link but dont understand what they are saying. /data/data...what is that?

That is the directory on your phone that holds the history. If you are rooted you can use an app like root explorer to delete the directory. As imentioned in the thread there is also an app called cachemate which will clear it, but I believe you need to be rooted to run that as well. If you are not rooted there is no way to do it AFAIK.
