Delete Contact Group

Using the razr maxx hd with ICS and wondering how to delete a contact group that I have created??
I am getting tired of not being able to delete the things I want to delete!
Why when something is created is it not allowed to be deleted??
I am also tired of "them" giving us an app only to take it away later on??????
Why did they remove the TASKS app which I used often. Now I have to use the clunky calendar just to be reminded of things to do???
However, they DID NOT remove all their BLOATED CRAP?????????????
Does anyone from Motoroal or Verizon even begin to listen?
Sorry for the rant.
Anyone know how to delete a created contact group?

Easiest (perhaps only) way to delete a group is from the PC. Login to you gmail account, select contacts then under the "more" tab you have the option to delete group.

Good morning.. You can also delete the group from the people contacts.. Go to the group tab.. Enter that group.. Hit menu and delete...

Odd ... I try from the phone and I don't have the option to delete any groups. I try from PC and those same groups can be deleted - strange!

Hmm.. So when you enter the group there is no option on upper left to delete?
I created the test group to see.. Try to make a new one to see if you can edit/delete..

Well, after more reading on this issue I have discovered that the "default" groups coworkers, family, and friends cannot be deleted??????
So both responses are correct as long as it is a group that you created. I thought I created the family group and wanted to delete it, but I guess I was mistaken. :blink:
So there we have it....you cannot delete any default groups whether you want to or not!.
Stupid Google, Motorola, and anyone else who locks these things up!:angry:
