How does one delete everything? I got a replacement phone (was defective) and want to delete all my personal info.

According to the manual, I can fact reset with Settings/Privacy/Fact reset. There is NO "privacy" option.

Or I can shut down, hold the vol down button, tap the power, release when image appears..... NO image appears

Stuck!

Thx for the help

You need to hold X then turn phone on, then "hold the vol down button, tap the power, release when image appears."

<------------------ this guy is lost now. ilikemoneygreen.....looks like you got this covered bro!

Your way was simplest... i have the option on my phone. The way i described is old school. lol. kind of like taking the very long scenic route on a freeway when their's a quicker way to do it. Either way the result will be the same though, so he just gets to enjoy the Scenery of recovery mode. :)
