Delete Multiple Emails?

Does anyone know how to delete emails in mass? That is, if I open my email on the droid and there are say 10 messages in a folder that duplicates one of my work addresses, how can I delete them all quickly instead of selecting each one and then deleting?

Sometimes, the phone will start downloading new messages as you are marking the old ones and then all of these need to be marked in order to delete them as well.

Clearly, there must be away to just say "delete all"

And in case you aren't willing to check out those other threads.... As of yet, no delete all option. Just tap the check box to the left (as soon as you do this to the first one, a menu bar at the bottom will give you "mark unread" "add star" and "delete") of all the emails you want to delete and then tap delete.

I figured it out on the Incredible. When in email, press the menu button then select delete, the next window looks like your regular email but there are Xs to the right. click on each email to select, X turns red..select all the emails you want then select delete again.. multiple emails deleted..:icon_ banana:
