Deleted emails ics

I recently deleted some emails from my Android ICS. They are, of course, in the Trash folder. However, a few of them I really didn't want to delete so I tried to a) move them back to the Inbox or b) forward them to me. However, I didn't see any option for doing that. Previous versions of Android allowed you to a) Reply from the Trash folder or b) Forward. In other words, the menus look just like the ones in the Inbox folders but those options don't seem to be available in ICS.
What gives?

Well, yes, it seems to be in that respect. But is there a work around?

I have gone on my computer and deleted them from there. Seemed to work for me
