Desktop app for customizing the Droid (specifically music/video/pics)

NOTE: NOT SYNCING! I MEAN CONTROLLING/CUSTOMIZING MY DROID!

Does anyone know of a desktop application that can control and customize the Droid?

Something that can be ran from my computer when the Droid is connected that will allow me to do the following:

-customize playlists
-drag/drop music/etc. into the playlists
-add/remove applications
-customize notifications/ringtones/volume/etc.
-move/create home screens (move the icons, etc.)
-backup/restore

Something like this would make it SO much easier than messing with it on the phone at times.

That would be called iTunes, and good luck finding something like that on android, lol.

There's an app called The Missing Sync though that's in beta that looks promising. It looks like it might do everything you're looking for. Really expensive though for something that should be built in.

Well I connect my Droid to my PC and fired up Window Media Player which recognized it as a media player that I can sync with.

I am referring to customizing it via my desktop, not going through the menus, etc. on the phone itself.

I can sync just fine.

This is more for an app that will let me quickly get through the features, etc.

When I first got my Droid I looked into a program called Double Twist. I haven't tried it yet because I've been pretty busy, but I think that might be what you're looking for. It sounds like an iTunes for Android. Let me know what you think/find out since i have yet to try it.

I use Doubletwist just fine and like it.

I'm not talking about syncing though...I'm talking about "controlling" the phone. It takes much longer using the phone than it would using an app on my laptop.
