desktop/backround goes blank problem

Whenever I am at the home screen and I open up my keyboard, I lose all my icons on the homescreen, ,aking me have to reset my phone..... how do I fix this?

There are a few other threads about this. I've had it happen to me twice so far. I think it might have to do with killing tasks but I'm not really sure.

Yeah it could be either of those things, what I would do, is first uninstall any task killer, and then uninstall any security apps like "Mobile Defense" or any virus/firewall apps if you have any. And if that don't work I would start by uninstalling apps the I use the least amount, you know the ones that just set there for looks? lol
