Development Update

Hi guys, this is just an update on the future development of the roms for the Droid1. The Droid1 is and always will be my personal favorite to create roms for and also plays a key part in my development process, unfortunately my droid 1 has major issues and I am unable test its roms. Donations have been down lately so i cant afford to go out and get a new one. If anyone has upgraded and has a spare droid to throw this way or if donations pick up so I can pick one up off ebay, development will continue as before. Until then it may take a bit longer to address any issues that my surface on this phone specifically. I do have some great projects in the works that you will get to see VERY soon and lots of ideas for future roms as well, and would love to get them rolling out to you guys as quick as I can and this would be a great help. I thank you for all your past and future contributions to help keep Ultimate Droid and its community going!

Yes, I do. I don't have a fascinate myself yet, but one of the long time UD users just got one and I have already talked to him about setting up the testing.

im not sure if this will help you but i have a droid that drowned,it powers up but just to a lite up black screen, maybe you can take mine and yours and make a good one out of it, i been holding onto it in hopes to run across another some what broken one to try to make a good one. just an idea

I think it was his screen that went bad. He told me when it happened but don't remember specifics.

Nah, it needs to be fully working or its not good. The back button and far left side of the screen just all of the sudden stopped working. Got my D1 on day one and I guess after the thousands of flashes she finally gave out :\

and what phone are you now using that youll develop for in the future?

Lol or use insurrence and report it lost or stolen 50 bucks to replace
