Device was sluggish, now fine?

Had a weird Monday. Got my Inc on release day, have loved it from the start. No problems at all. Then on Monday (5/10) the thing starts lagging. Every aspect. Opening apps, using keyboard or joystick, pinch; you name it, it was slow.

I got it at Best Buy and had every intention of going in today and having them look at it. I am a total non tech person. This morning I get up and battery is completely dead. Shouldn't be, device was plugged in most of Mon evening. I plug in and turn on and voila! everything is running normally.

Any thoughts? Pleased it is working now, but should I worry it will happen again? I am in love with this phone, but if there is a problem would like to address it sooner rather than later.

Pull the battery out for a couple of seconds then put back in and turn on

It was weird today for me too....

I had received a few picture messages from my friend and somehow those multimedia messages made my droid lag enough for me to notice. Yes, I only had the DI for a few days, and definitely got used to how fast it was, so a small lag, I noticed.... Anyrate, it bothered me with that lag, so I deleted those picture texts, and cleared out my cache on the internet, then did a soft reboot (same as listed above) and things went back to normal...


Oh btw, what was the official release date of the Incredible?
I got mine a few days ago

make sure the phone isn't syncing...my droid lags a little when it is syncing...

April 29. Though apparently some shipped earlier. I got mine at Best Buy on the 29th.
