dialpad in voicemail not working

Problem: Droid notified me of two new voicemail messages. Tapping the icon takes me to the VocieMail page, tapping the "Dialpad" key brings up the dialpad, tapping the number keys displays the correct numbers, but there are no audible touchtones, and the system keeps asking me to enter my password and press pound. Repeated entries don't work and finally, after three requests from the system, the "system cannot process my entries" and hangs up.

Ugh!

Curious: the dialpad DOES work when using the phone. Suggestions?

Have you found a fix yet? I am having the exact same problem.

Which leads me to believe it is something with the phone settings.

Dial pad

I stopped by the Verizon store to see what their techs would say. They'd never seen the problem before, but they recommended the standard fix of "take-out-the-battery-and-put-it-back-in" and viola! it worked again. Hope this helps . . .
