Different choice than Google Wallet

Is there a different way to automatically purchase apps from the Market than using Google Wallet?
I have had a "problem" with Google Wallet using inactive credit/debit cards for payment and if it does not get resolved I may have to close my Google Wallet account to solve the issue.

I don't have Google Wallet and all my payments go through the market. Never had a problem with it either.

If you buy from the Android market, you pay through Google servers.

Do you have to enter payment type every time?

Then how do I change the payment selection?

I tried that and was informed that the credit card would be added to my Google Wallet.
I know this is not a forum for Google Wallet but android devices. But I could tell a huge story to tell about Google Wallet using cards that no longer even existed in Google "Wallet"....Plus they will not even acknowledge answering this question in their "email only support". It is pathetic that they do not have a phone number for any support of their apps.
