Digital Copy of Movies....

I have a few Digital copies of some movies and have put them on my computer and tried to sync them using windows media player and also just drag and dropping the portable version over to my sd card. The sync doesn't work and the drag and drop when I try to play the movie it says Sorry, this video cannot be played. Any suggestions?

From other threads here it appears that the digital copy won't work with the Droid. It would be better to take your DVD and convert it.

Convert it to AVI then you can use arcmedia player to watch them on your droid x/2/1/pro/2global

I use a couple of the software apps from Daniusoft Video Converter Software, DVD Ripper, DRM Converter, iPad/iPhone/iPod Transfer software They provide profile settings for most phones, including the Droid 2. I rip my DVDs to MP4 format so as to not use a software app to drain more battery life...the Android OS has native MP4 support.

I've found that for the Droid 2, unless you're very, very picky, there's little display difference between "low" and "high" quality settings...other than the file size. The latter can be 3 times as large. I use the former, and the average movie is about 750MB in size.
