Digitizer is dead?

I went to throw a screen protector on my friend's RZ and used some of the spray applicator that came with the screen protector. After I applied it, he turned the phone right on right after.

The phone works perfectly fine, minus the dead digitizer (it's not actually dead, we don't think, it's just not picking up any touches).

Please help out asap. It's rooted on Clean Rom, he's thinking of re-flashing.

Nevermind... There was water in the phone, used a hair dryer on it like crazy.... Worked perfectly afterwards, so damned good, his sensitivity went up a lot and said it works better...

If you really thought the digitizer was dead, you should get an exchange from Verizon. I say it plainly that hardware failures are best addressed with warranty support.
