DINC Keeps Turning Off!

My DINC, which is about 3 months old, keeps turning off! It's not rooted, but I do have the Seidido extended battery 3500. Has anyone else experienced this? I put the OEM battery back in this evening to see if that's the problem. I hope not, because the OEM battery is useless and I really need the extended battery!

I appreciate any assistance anyone can offer.

More then likely it's an app yopu got that's causing you an issue. Get rid of any task killers or antivirus if you have them installed. If you don't have them or that doesn't fix it hen you may have to do a factory data reset. I'm not sure how you do that on the Incredible.

If you do that and still have problems, take it to Verizon. It can't be the battery.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, I got rid of ATK, as I figured I didn't need it. I've deleted a bunch of apps I don't use. It's weird. Today, for example, it turned itself off about 8-10 times.

I swapped out the Seidio extended battery for the original battery and the problem seems to be solved. Must have been a defect in the battery? I've found that I really like how 'slim' the phone is now (I got the extended battery immediately after buying the phone). I ordered the 1500ma battery, as I believe that's the strongest one that doesn't change the form factor. I may need to watch my battery level thru the day, but it's worth it for me for the better form factor.
